Drowning Prevention Week

The Challenge

Each year some 60-80 people drown in British Columbia. A number that needs to reduce.

The Solution

To raise awareness of the risks of open water and unknown hazards there was a need to do something that would get people talking. Sand angels were laid on English Bay beach, each representing an individual who had tragically lost their life to drowning, making for a stark reminder to be safe around the water.
