The Challenge

As a long-term parter of the Diamond Rally, Audi Canada wanted to use the event to showcase the power and luxury of the new R8 supercar. And in doing so, continue to build affinity with they key high-net worth audience.

The problem was creating content to a calibre that reflected the style and premium nature of the car, without it stopping or being in control of it.

 

The Solution

A non-stop shoot from dawn to dusk, a meticulously orchestrated production solution was planned out to pursue half a dozen Audi vehicles, their drivers and passengers while they participated in the rally. Vancouver, Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton and everywhere in between, the action was captured with strategically placed cameras attached drones, boats, vehicle-mounted cranes, gyros and fly-cams. And with a rapid post-production process established, the content was edited, published and shared in real-time.

Working with a number of influencers from across the country, we were able to amplify the live content, while also extend its reach.
